New sewing project

I may have gotten in over my head on this one, but currently I'm making a......kilt.  I have never been so on edge working with fabric!  I've got 4 yards of Campbell tartan I'm working on, and I'm so scared that I'm going to mess this up!  I bought a book called The Art of Kiltmaking, read it several times, and finally cut into the fabric.  Now, I have the enjoyable task of sewing 21 pleats - by hand.  I'm only about 6 pleats into it.  This is going to take some time.....   When I get the chance, I will post pictures and explain the process as best as I can!
